CLUB DIARY

 

As the winter season comes to a close, the Club will be closed from 1pm today (Wednesday 29th April) for the rest of the afternoon & evening, as well as all day tomorrow (Thursday 30th April). On Friday (1st May), we will be open as usual in the daytime for the 50+ session and Maisie’s drive and then closed from 4pm onwards. We will also be shut all weekend (Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May).

The club summer opening times (with the leagues starting from next Monday 4th May) will be published very shortly both here and on social media. Many thanks.

 

SIBC helping the community

On behalf of The Friends of Johnson Community Hospital, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Maisie, Jan, and all the bowlers who took part and gave so generously.

The £250 raised has made a real difference and has played a major part in helping us fund the purchase of children’s toys for the Outpatients Department. For many children, visiting the hospital can be an anxious experience, and your donation has helped make those visits a little brighter and less stressful. We hope these toys will bring comfort and reassurance to the children and their families, and help to make future hospital visits feel a little less daunting.
