CLUB DIARY & LEAGUES

Special General Meeting Monday 1st September 7.00pm

This is being called as required by section 12 of the Club Constitution.

There will be a Special General Meeting held in the club lounge on Monday 1st September at 7.00. This meeting is solely to approve further changes to the Club Constitution as required by HMRC in respect of the Club’s application to be a Community Amateur Sports Club.

Membership renewal sessions

Sessions will be held in the club lounge on:

Friday 5th September and Saturday 6th September between 10.00 & 2.00.

As previously advised, Adult subs will be £40 and Concessions (60+) £30. Junior membership fees will be waived whilst we are at Long Sutton. No fees will be taken for lockers as these will be allocated on a ‘needs’ basis once we see how many can be relocated to Long Sutton. Please pay by card (preferably) or cash.

SPORTS FACILITY REGENERATION

Our club co-ordinator, Graham Hicks, has been working tirelessly throughout the summer with calls, emails and visits with South Holland District Council and Lincolnshire Co-Op. Once the lease is signed, contractors can start work and the new carpet fitted at the Long Sutton premises.

SHDC have advised that the centre will officially close on 9th September 2025 with no public access and that no club activity will take place after 5th September 2025.

It is proposed that we will have our sign on days before the centre closure, but more information on this to follow.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our management committee. We are in unprecedented times and we hope that we can all work together to reach the best possible outcome for the club.
